The BBC has news that Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson will be making three Tintin movies, which makes me very happy. I grew up reading Tintin, and loved the wholesome, boys own adventure feel of the series, along with the distinctive repeated characters and the wacky humour. The movies will apparently be 3D animated, which is less inspiring, but I'm crossing my fingers that Weta, Spielberg and Jackson can make it work.
