In the Neighbourhood

Well, we've found a place to live. It's a nice little apartment in Kitsilano about five minutes' walk from the downtown bus, ten minutes from the beach and about an hour's walk from the Gastown beggars. It's unfurnished, so we've started trawling the local thrift stores for furniture that won't disintegrate when I sit on it. It is nice to have our own place in time for Christmas though - having to celebrate it in a dingy hostel would've been just a little bit too sucky.
